Super Starters to kick off your meal in style
For you meat eaters!
King Prawn Butterfly
Lovely King prawns – opened up and battered before being shallow fried to seal in the lovely fresh taste and keep them light. Accompanied by a superb minty sauce – a refreshing way to start your meal.
Assorted Kebab Selection
A range of our finest kebabs including the classic yoghurt marinaded Chicken Tikka and Lamb Tikka. Also included is a more unusal – and superbly tasty Fish Kebab. The final complement to this dish is a divine Sabzi Pakora.
Chicken Puri
One of the great starters. Lovely pieces of chicken in a light sauce with fresh coriander to give a bit of warmth and served with fantastic freshly cooked puffed bread to soak up the all the flavour.
For Non-Meaties
Sabzi Pakora (Sabzi = Vegetable)
Sabzi means vegetable – and these deep fried balls of gram flour include a fantastic tasty mix of vegetables and spices. Served with a special sauce for dipping into this is a classic.
Stuffed Jalapenos
If we suggested these half Jalapenos peppers stuffed with cream cheese coated with bread crumbs you might expect them to be a red hot start. We can assure you – they aren’t as spicy as you may expect – and far more tasty than you could hope!
Aloo Chatt
Fantastic dish of cubed potatoes in spice – perhaps the easiest description may be sweet and sour potatoes – but trust us – these are something special.
