Great Bread!

We’re not sure it you know your loaf – but here is a quick whistle stop tour of arguable the king of Indian bread – the naan.  We just want to make sure you get what you want to accompany your curry.

Naan bread is a lovely fluffy bread slightly leavened and baked in the clay oven – it is perfect for absorbing sauces or cleaning your plate after a good meal.  They look like a nice large pitta bread – but are so much lighter and more fluffy.  We offer 4 different types – plain, garlic, keema and sultana.  The garlic and plain are similar – the only difference being a lovely smearing of buttery garlic and coriander.  The last two can  almost be a meal in themselves. The sultana (or peshwari) is stuffed full of lovely sweet ground almonds and sultanas – while the keema is stuffed full of lovely spiced meat.
