An Indian Menu we know by heart

We have lots of customers – and we are always amazed that so many plump for such similar banquets when they pop into our Edinburgh based Indian Restaurant in Morningside.  We’re sure these treats are popular all over the world so we can’t blame them.  If you’re not sure what to order – we can assure you that this is a great meal.  If this is your usual menu – then perhaps try something new- but it’s up to you!!

Starter – Mixed Kebab

Classic tandoor grilled treats with lovely sauces to dip them in.

Main – Chicken Tikka Massallam

Who hasn’t heard of this dish.  Allegedly the UK’s favourite meal – the perfect combination of delicately flavoured barbecued chicken in a rich gravy.

Vegetarian Side Dish – Aloo Ghobi

Potatoes, cauliflower and spices – simple and flavoursome.

Rice & Bread – Pilau Rice & Plain Nan

Classic Indian cooked fluffy rice, coloured and flavoured by flavoursome spices and the king of Indian breads.

Drink – Cobra Beer or Glass of house wine

What can we say here – a nice glass of ice cold white wine, a warming red or a nice frothy glass of the beer brewed specially to be drunk with curry.  All 3 are just perfect – but don’t mix them!!
