We keep telling you about our Sunday Buffet – and we’re back to do the same again! We know people’s perceptions of buffets and the quality of food available. Ours isn’t about taking a chance to use up left over ingredients – or churn out cheap versions of our classics – it is about giving you the opportunity to experience a range of our authentic Indian dishes.

Four months down the line – and we just love the buzz of the place on a Sunday. We have more and more regular customers – and we still have new ones coming and trying it every week. Our poor chef spends every Saturday night getting some sleep to build up his energy reserves ready to churn out stacks of quality food all day. Whilst we rotate our menu each week – our Chicken Korma seems to be the most popular dish – we just can’t make enough.

Easter Oven

Easter is almost upon us – one of the great long weekends of the year – with Spring just having started and lots of chocolate in the shops. With the kids off school – or if you just have time off work, it’s time to relax and enjoy the weekend. Saying that – we’ll be here all weekend, from Good Friday through Easter and Easter Monday preparing out fantastic Indian treats (and they’re better than any Easter egg!).

We’d be delighted to share some of the weekend with you. On Easter Sunday as people roll eggs down the hill we’ll be here preparing our ever popular all-day Sunday Indian buffet. Give us a quick call on 0131 447 9724 and book a table – just make sure you leave some space after all the chocolate!

Buffet Bonanza

It’s hard to believe that our all-day Sunday buffet is already into it’s second month. We have had a really great response from customers old and new about the opportunity to try new dishes – as well as the range and quality of our offerings. We have been constantly busy – and would strongly recommend booking a table if you fancy joining us.

We’ll be offering different dishes each week – so if you’ve been before – every time can be a different experience.

All-day Sunday Buffet

Our all day Sunday buffet started on Sunday the 7^th of February – and was really popular – many thanks to those of you who came along! We’ll be continuing to offer this Sunday treat – and if you’re worried about getting bored of the same old dishes – don’t worry, we’ll be keeping things exciting and offering different dishes every single week.

If you’re wondering what sort of things we’ll be cooking – here’s a sample of the menu for you

Starters

Sabzi Pakora – mixed vegetable with gram flour and deep fried.
Chicken Wings – lovely spiced chicken wings – finger food at it’s best
Chana Puri – chick peas in spicy gravy served with puffed break – you have to taste this treat.

Mains – Meat

Chicken Tikka Massallam – everyone knows this one – and we think our version is pretty special
Chicken Korma – a lightly spiced creamy chicken curry
Chicken Jalfrezie – a hotter chicken dish – really tasty
Alo Gosht – Lovely lamb and spiced potatoes.

Main Veg

Alo Gobi Massallam – Wholesome spiced potato and cauliflower in a classic Indian gravy
Sag Daal – Spinach and lentils in a curry sauce – ideal on its own or as a side dish.
Mixed Vegetable Bhaji – a range of mixed vegetables with selected spices.

Bread

Nan (plain) – freshly cooked with the taste of the tandoor.

Rice

Pilau Rice – the classic flavoured rice

Chutney/Sauces

There will be a range of sauces to enjoy with you food – including chilli Sauce, lovely yoghurty Mint Sauce and some lively spiced onions

Refreshments/Dessert

Tea/Coffee – whichever you fancy!
Ice Cream – to refresh you after your meal (if you still have room!)

A quick reminder that our All-Day Curry Sunday Buffet starts tomorrow on Sunday 7 February 2010.

The buffet is available from 12pm-10pm, featuring 3 different starters, 8 different main dishes and a dessert.

The All-Day Buffet will be available for only £9.95 for adults and £5.95 for kids!

From Sunday 7 February 2010, we are going to introduce a special Indian treat. Come to see us anytime on Sunday (12-10pm) and we’ll be offering a curry buffet featuring 3 different starters, 7 different main dishes and a dessert/tea/coffee.

We’ll alternate the dishes regularly – but promise to include at least 1 vegetarian starter and 3 different vegetarian main courses. We’ll also be cooking lamb and chicken dishes – so whatever you fancy – or if you want to try something new – you’ll be delighted.

Sound good? You’ll be wondering about cost – and booking a table. The buffet will be £9.95 for adults, £5.95 for kids under 10 while kids under 3 eat FREE. Keep an eye on these pages to find out more and we will be delighted to take your booking.
