As nice as we think our restaurant is – there is little question that whilst we’d all like to be able too, eating out every night just isn’t feasible. The other side of this is that given busy lives and long working hours cooking a meal sometimes isn’t that appealing when all you really want to do is sit and relax. It’s on days like that that the other side of our Edinburgh restaurant comes into its own with the takeaway and delivery service.

You hopefully won’t be surprised to hear that here at the Clay Oven Indian Restaurant we offer a great Takeaway and Delivery service. Our Takeaway speaks for itself – just give us a call and tell us which of our Indian treats you fancy from our Takeaway Menu and we’ll have them cooked and ready for you to pick up as quickly as possible.

Curry Delivery

From our location in Edinburgh’s Morningside our delivery drivers will bring food free to your door provided it is within a 3 mile radius and you spend more than £10 on food. If you have trouble picturing 3 miles from where we are – this includes Bruntsfield, Tollcross, Merchiston, Polwarth, Marchmont, The Grange and Fountainbridge. If where you live isn’t listed here give us a call and we’ll let you know what we can do. Trust us, our food is so good it is well worth the effort!

The way things are at the moment with all the snow and cold getting out to the supermarket can be a challenge, let alone the thought of actually cooking food! Not only that – but you need something good and warming inside you to brace you for the cold that awaits you outside the front door.

For great winter warming food our whole menu is available for takeaway and delivery – and our drivers are set to brave the weather to bring piping hot perfect Indian food to your front door!

We are open and available all over Christmas (including 1pm to 9pm on Christmas Day itself!) – so why not take advantage and lighten the load on yourself. As we get closer to Christmas we’ll be getting busier and busier – so make sure you try and order in advance!

Well, summer has definitely passed on now and September has arrived. Now the festival goers have left the city it seems that they have taken with them all the sun and left us wind, rain and trees shedding their leaves. It’s bad enough leaving the house to go to work – but there is nothing appealing about having to brave the elements if there is any way to avoid it.

They are desperate to bring our great Indian food to your door to ensure that your evening is full of warmth. Given our restaurant is located in Edinburgh’s traditional Morningside, we’re very aware that Burns Night is just a week away.

We can’t pretend that we’re going to make a haggis curry, or any of the other traditional dishes but we will be open and offering our full fantastic menu (and to be honest – we think it tastes a lot better) – and we’ll happily serve you a dram to drink with it.
