It seems these days that it is increasingly difficult to know what to buy people for presents. Whether they are turning 18, leaving home or whatever, people seem to have everything. As a solution for you – give the gift of Indian food. We don’t mean cold left overs – we mean our gift vouchers (available in any denomination you require) – just pop into the restaurant and ask and we’ll make your present buying easy.

For you parents with children in the area at University – how about treating them to some vouchers. At least you know some of your hard earned money will be going on some great quality food (we promise to not let them spend it all on alcohol!)

King Prawn Butterfly

Lovely King prawns – opened up and battered before being shallow fried to seal in the lovely fresh taste and keep them light. Accompanied by a superb minty sauce – a refreshing way to start your meal.

Assorted Kebab Selection

A range of our finest kebabs including the classic yoghurt marinaded Chicken Tikka and Lamb Tikka. Also included is a more unusal – and superbly tasty Fish Kebab. The final complement to this dish is a divine Sabzi Pakora.

Chicken Puri

One of the great starters. Lovely pieces of chicken in a light sauce with fresh coriander to give a bit of warmth and served with fantastic freshly cooked puffed bread to soak up the all the flavour.

For Non-Meaties

Sabzi Pakora (Sabzi = Vegetable)

Sabzi means vegetable – and these deep fried balls of gram flour include a fantastic tasty mix of vegetables and spices. Served with a special sauce for dipping into this is a classic.

Stuffed Jalapenos

If we suggested these half Jalapenos peppers stuffed with cream cheese coated with bread crumbs you might expect them to be a red hot start. We can assure you – they aren’t as spicy as you may expect – and far more tasty than you could hope!

Aloo Chatt

Fantastic dish of cubed potatoes in spice – perhaps the easiest description may be sweet and sour potatoes – but trust us – these are something special.

Fish Curry

Described in our menu as a rich combination of fish and a delicate tasting sauce – this dish is almost a way of life in Goa. To give you a bit more background – this light fish curry is made with the finest white fish – and has a flavour that can be described as slightly tangy and very slightly spicy. To eat this in the most authentic manner – enjoy it with some boiled white rice.

How often do you get home from work and just fancy slumping on the sofa – or just want a break after a busy day at home with the family. A takeaway may seem like the perfect option – but is it all just a bit unhealthy? Whilst there is little denying that some of our dishes have quite a few calories – there are a few simple rules you can follow to get a healthier meal.

Green chillies can be hot – but contain lots of vitamin C

Order some chapattis instead of the traditional naan – they’re wholemeal too!

You can enjoy this all in the comfort of your own home. Either call us for a takeaway (delivered free within 3 miles of the restaurant) – or come and pick up your meal direct – whichever is easier.

Do you ever wonder about having a fantastic Indian banquet for your special event – wherever it may be? Whether you are wanting to celebrate an anniversary or engagement, get someone to cook for your office party or just have a party we can offer you two great solutions.

Group Bookings

We can cater for groups of up to 20 people in our restaurant – and can arrange a menu to suit any dietary requirements you may have. Our restaurant will hold up to 45 – so if you are happy pulling together a seating plan – we’ll make sure you’ll be the only people here.

Outside Catering

More people than we can cope with – or perhaps you are looking at a specific venue. Our chefs will cook for your event and provide you with a perfect banquet as part of our Outside Catering Service.

For both options – just ask in the restaurant or contact us. We can give as much or as little support as you need to create the ideal menu – and we can discuss budgets to meet your needs. We look forward to helping your day go with a bang.

We’re proud to say that our menu is fully halal. As a quick lesson for those of you who don’t know what that means – essentially it means that all ingredients conform with Muslim dietary laws. This means things such as the fact that there will be no pork or pork-byproducts in any of our meals.

The other benefit of being fully halal is that it means our food is completely authentic and tastes as good as it would if you were enjoying a curry banquet in South Asia such as in Bangladesh or India.
